2021 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FROM THE COACHES

Is anyone else just completely floored it’s already the holidays?! We are. Our team has grown since our last Gift Guide but we love sharing some of our favorite products - nutrition, cooking, fitness, and health related - and are doing so early this year knowing that the holidays are sneaking up quickly.  This week we’re each sharing a favorite health or fitness gift that we hope you find useful as you start holiday shopping (or start your own list of what you may want this holiday season!)

COACH CAITLIN

A PERFECT KITCHEN KNIFE || Prior to meeting my fiance Austin, I had no idea that a good kitchen knife was even important. This knife was one of the first gifts he ever gave me and it's changed my whole chopping game and has stayed in such great shape while being put to work! Bonus: it was also Anthony Bourdain’s favorite!

COACH DIANA

A SLEEP LIGHT || Something I talk about frequently with clients is sleep and how big of an impact it has on our overall well-being. While it may seem counterintuitive to use a device to help with your sleep, this one is great because it allows you to set a sleep-wake routine, has a built-in sound machine, and provides a soft glowing light for reading before bed.

COACH KATE

THE GREATEST WEEKLY PLANNER || For anyone who loves schedules and routines, I am a hardcore Passion Planner fan. I’ve been using a Passion Planner since I started grad school in 2015 and always recommend it to anyone who likes to keep a schedule or wants to work on personal and/or work habits. On top of space for weekly planning, Passion Planners have monthly, mid-year, and yearly goal setting maps that I love. I use mine almost as a journal!

COACH KENNY

THESE DURABLE WORKOUT SHORTS || I have three pairs of these Rogue Black Ops 6” shorts and they are my favorite pieces of workout clothing that I own.  They are lightweight, comfortable, a great length (there is also a 8" option if you like longer shorts), and super durable. I've put them through literally hundreds of workouts, I've ridden them mountain biking, and they don't show signs of wearing out anytime soon. (Note: I'm 5'11, ~200 lbs, and I wear a Size L)

COACH KIMBERLY

A SILK PILLOWCASE || They come in TONS of colors, have a zipper closure (no pillowcases sliding off of the pillow by morning, and keep hair from getting dry + frizzy. If you have dry skin or live in a dryer climate, these pillowcases help to keep moisturizer/serums on your face rather than soaking into the pillowcase (like what might happen with a cotton pillow case).

COACH WHITNEY

DARN TOUGH HIKING SOCKS || I know, I know.  Nothing makes me feel more like a boring adult than the fact that I get legitimately excited when I'm gifted a pair of these socks. But here's the thing: they are truly the best hiking socks - and they're also great for walking dogs on cold days. They are a little more expensive than I usually like to buy for myself, which means they feel like a luxury.  So if you know any avid hikers or cold-weather dog-walkers, this is the perfect gift.

COACH ZACH

COOK ONCE COOKBOOK || I love this book by Cassy Joy Garcia because it shows you how to use leftovers from a previous meal and completely repurpose them. It's great for short meal prep, but also if you're concerned about getting sick of eating the same things all week.

As a special recommendation for any book lovers in your life, we also shared our favorite book recommendations here!
