HIGH PROTEIN PB&J GREEK YOGURT BOWL
PREP TIME: 3-6 minutes || COOK TIME: 0 minutes || MAKES: 2 servings
WHAT YOU NEED:
220g plain nonfat Greek yogurt
32 g peanut butter
18 grams strawberry preserves (or whatever flavor you prefer)
100 grams mixed berries (frozen or fresh, whatever you prefer)
NOTES:
There are a few great things about this Greek yogurt bowl:
This recipe involves zero cooking time. None.
It is malleable. If you need more fat, add peanut butter. More carbs? Add more jam to the mix, or even something like oats or a banana.
Greek yogurt is great for digestive health and has been shown to provide some probiotics to the diet.
WHAT TO DO:
First step is to decide if you want to defrost your frozen berries or let them thaw on the counter. Defrosting is quicker, thawing on the counter tastes better, or you can go with fresh berries and not deal with this issue. Your choice.
Put the Greek yogurt in a bowl, then add the peanut butter and jam
Add the aforementioned berries (in whatever state you decide to consume them in)
Stir everything together and enjoy!
GIVE IT A TRY:
If you want to pack and take this as a snack to work, then mix frozen berries into the bowl. This will keep everything cool for a while as the berries thaw.
