MACRO-FRIENDLY RECIPE: AIR-FRYER PIZZA QUESADILLA
I wasn’t an early adopter of the air-fryer, but after borrowing a friend’s and then finally getting my own a couple of years ago, I don’t really use much else for daily cooking. Because of that, I attempt to make as much as humanly possible with this magical appliance and what could be better than a combo of two favorite meals?!
Please welcome: The Pizza Quesadilla. It’s a meal that your whole family will love. It’s easy to whip up in a flash and very easy to track, whether you use MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, or don’t track your macros at all.

EASY MACRO-FRIENDLY RECIPE: AIR-FRYER PIZZA QUESADILLA
PREP TIME: 5 minutes | COOK TIME: 6-8 minutes | MAKES: 1 serving
WHAT YOU NEED:
50g Crockpot shredded chicken (can also use canned chicken)
100g Pizza sauce (we used Good & Gather brand), separated in half
28g Italian blend shredded cheese
15g Hormel turkey pepperoni
1 Olé Xtreme Wellness tortilla wrap
WHAT TO DO:
If your air fryer requires pre-heating, pre-heat it to 350 degrees.
Place tortilla wrap on a piece of foil and spread half of the pizza sauce on the entire tortilla wrap, reserving the other half in a small bowl for dipping.
Layer chicken, cheese, and pepperoni on one half of the wrap and fold tortilla in half to cover layered ingredients.
If your air fryer has a rack, place the rack over the quesadilla to keep it in place. Otherwise, you can use toothpicks or fold foil over top of the tortilla.
Set the air fryer for 350 degrees and cook for 6-8 minutes or until crispy.
While the quesadilla is cooking, microwave the pizza sauce on a low setting (or covered with a paper towel) for 30 seconds.
Carefully remove the quesadilla using a large spatula.Cut the quesadilla into quarters and enjoy with remaining pizza sauce!
